The Role

We are seeking a creative and agile Content Creator to join the Communications team in a permanent part-time role (3 days per week).

This role is centred on capturing and producing high-quality short-form video and photography across Club events, sport and member experiences. Working closely with the Communications Manager and cross-department teams, you will help bring the Royal Sydney story to life across digital platforms.

The role suits a hands-on content creator who enjoys fast-moving environments, thrives on visual storytelling and takes pride in producing polished, engaging content. Flexibility is essential, including occasional evenings and weekend work to support events and content capture.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and edit short-form video content across events, sport and Club activities
• Produce high-quality photography to support digital communications
• Create fast-turnaround event recap content
• Plan, schedule and publish content across social and digital channels
• Monitor engagement and contribute ideas to refine content performance
• Support communications campaigns and content coordination
• Assist with basic visual design and short-form copy
• Collaborate with Events, Membership and Hospitality teams to capture timely content

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience creating short-form video content
• Video editing and photography capability
• Confidence working with professional equipment
• Experience publishing content across digital platforms
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated confidence with using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop)
• Basic graphic design capability using Canva (desirable)

Experience in content analytics, graphic design tools or communications environments is advantageous but not essential.
