The role:

We are seeking a motivated and professional Handyman to join the team. Reporting into the Property Services Manager, the successful applicant will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks throughout the Clubhouse and outbuildings to ensure that equipment is maintained in good working order.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm.

The key tasks include:

• Carry out all maintenance and handyman duties in the main Clubhouse and associated outbuildings including Turfcare Facilities, Fitness Pavilion and Fitness Centre with swimming pools.
• Painting 
• Carpentry and gyprock repairs
• Basic electrical work (light globes)
• Working at heights (ladders/roof)
• Basic plumbing (washers/toilets)
• Maintain accurate records of repair work.

What does the Club need from me?

• Trade background;
• Expertise with both power tools and hand tools;
• Experienced at painting;
• Experienced in working at heights and using ladders and on roofs;
• Understanding of basic electrical work; and
• Understanding of basic plumbing.
• There is some heavy lifting required therefore applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to work safely with heavy objects.
