Child Minding Attendant

The Royal Sydney Golf Club, a private members club, is fortunate to be considered one of Australia’s most prominent social and sporting institutions, having proudly hosted a number of world class sporting events including the Australian Open on 15 occasions and the 2011 Davis Cup. Set amongst the spectacular setting of Rose Bay, our Fitness Centre has a gym, indoor and outdoor pool, group exercise studios, child minding creche, massage and more.

The Role

Reporting into the Fitness Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Fitness Centre's Child Minding facility, delivering a seamless experience to members and guests. The facility operates Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 1.00pm and is available for member’s and guest’s children ages 6 months up to 7 years of age. 

This is a casual role that will require the availability to work Saturdays 8:30am to 1pm.

Key tasks include:

• Take bookings for the Child Minding facility and ensure accuracy of bookings and invoicing
• Ensure the cleanliness of the Child Minding facility in accordance with NSW Health Guidelines
• Order any supplies for the Child Minding facility and keep a track of the inventory that is being ordered
• Create a stimulating and positive environment to support development
• Track children’s progress and identify any issues or concerns to the child’s parent(s) or guardian
• Assist children in daily routines and meal time

Essential Criteria:

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or similar
• Centre based experience with 6 months – 7-year-old children
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check as well as a Medical Screening
