We all work together to progress the Club and to protect its traditions; we aim for excellence, to lead and support each other, and to enjoy the experience.The RoleThis is a part time standalone role reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the HR Department and Senior Accountant processing full-function weekly payroll for approximately 230 employees (on an Enterprise Agreement) with a high degree of accuracy.   Key tasks includeFull end to end processing of weekly payroll for employees.Set-up of new employees in payroll system.Reviewing and reconciling weekly employee time cards in time attendance system.Adherence to payroll polices and the Clubs enterprise agreement clauses.  End of month and year-end Payroll reconciliations and processing.Calculations of payroll tax, superannuation and leave entitlements.Terminations calculations and processing.Working alongside HR and Finance to provide consultative payroll adviceContinuously reviewing payroll processes to encourage and implement improvement initiatives.Assisting the Finance and HR team with other duties when required.Employee training in time in attendance system. What does the Club need from me?Sage MicrOpay experience preferred as well as Time and Attendance systems experience (Kronos Preferred)Strong Excel skills – Pivot tables, Vlook-upsEnd to end payroll experienceAvailability to work 3 days per week - Monday to Wednesday.Dedicated professional with a warm personality and a positive attitude to work.Timely and accurate processing of weekly payroll using Sage MicropayComprehensively understand and apply the Club's Enterprise AgreementAbility to work harmoniously with key department staff for the completion of payrollMinimum 5 years previous experience as a Payroll Manager/Officer Work with Us!Flexibility to work Wednesday from home.Competitive salary and access to staff fund (bonus)Ample opportunities for Learning & Development including 24/7 access to an extensive learning platform.Staff wellbeing program including free exercise classes for staff in our state-of-the-art fitness facilities, golf lessons, tennis clinics and access to our Employee Assistance Program.Daily staff meals.Uniforms provided plus uniform allowance.Paid Parental Leave benefits.17.5% loading on Annual Leave and Special Recreation Leave.20% discount on purchases (e.g. wine and sporting goods from our retail store).15% discount on TFE hotel or apartment bookings across Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
